Funding for Action Participants
DairyCare will reimburse travel and accommodation costs for the Invited Plenary Speakers and MC Members (or substitutes: max. 2 per Participating Country). You will receive an invitation later, but you should register NOW!
In addition, there will be funding available through a competitive process for around 12 other Action Participants. Preference will be given to ESRs (younger scientists from PhD until 8 years post graduation), and especially ESRs coming from COST Inclusiveness Countries. On the Participants page, these countries are underlined in bold. To enter the competition, you should have submitted an Abstract for Oral presentation, ticking the relevant boxes. Abstracts will be peer reviewed for scientific quality and relevance. Succesful applicants will be notified after the Abstract submission deadline. The sooner you submit an Abstract, the better your chances!
Please note that Abstract submission has now closed.
We welcomed submission of Abstracts in any area of health and welfare research relevant to dairy animals. We especially welcomed Abstracts that deal specifically with the key tasks and targets identified in the WG descriptions. Assessing and Assisting Health and Welfare is what we are about, and we need inputs from the full range of biological, technological, engineering and social science disciplines identified in our overview document Abstracts need not necessarily describe completed work. We welcomed Abstracts that describe research that will happen in the near future.
