hotels

The local organisers recommend that delegates stay in the centre of Thessaloniki, to enjoy the ambience of the historic city and be close to the social programme venues. The area close to the airport and Conference venue is more commercial.

Local transport from the city centre to the Conference venue is by bus (details below) or taxi and takes 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. A taxi will cost around 15-20 euro and those claiming reimbursement are reminded that local transport in excess of 25 euro (total) must be invoiced, and COST rules  prohibit taxi fares without good reason. Please ensure that you share taxis and stay below the 25 euro per person local transport limit if possible.

There are numerous hotels in the <100 euro price bracket available eg on www.booking.com
The hotels listed here are those that the organisers can recommend based on location and quality
